Had a dream last night where I went to Kiev for a vtuber convention. At the airport I tried to use the ATM to get €150 in cash, but the ATM was broken. I decided to go to Starbuck's, buy a shitty coffee, and ask for cash back. But the barista couldn't understand my American accent when I asked for just €150. She drained my entire bank account (in the dream, exactly $6,592.25) and instead of euros, she gave me a handful of Monopoly money, a floppy disc of Lego Island 1, a 7 of hearts, and a scratched up Liliana Vess card from MTG. I was pissed. I tried to call my bank and dispute the withdrawal but it was 4 AM due to timezones and their AI answering agent couldn't help me. Panicked, I wandered through the streets wondering how I was going to pay for anything. After a couple hours, I ran into another American. He gave me a cig and when I told him my story, he laughed and said "oh they weren't scamming you, the euro has collapsed and so now the currency here is Monopoly money plus whatever else they have lying around." I was so happy I started crying. I ran to the Culver's down the street and ordered a butterburger to celebrate. However, because of the way Europeans switch commas and periods for decimals and thousands, I thought they wanted 15,000 monopoly dollars for the burger instead of 15.00. I was pissed again. I argued with the staff. One of the servers pushed me so I threw a punch. Then the cops showed up and arrested me. I couldn't afford bail because the jail only accepted clubs-suit playing cards as currency and their ATM was also broken. I was supposed to see a judge in the morning, but the judge got drafted to fight in the war, so I never got out of jail. Fucked up dream. I get the message though. Do NOT travel to Kiev.
