i love using my work win11 laptop where it takes ages to boot and getting it to actually shut off is a chore, like 3 false starts where it stops and asks me to save out of programs that aren't even running
then i use an older laptop i wiped and stuck arch on. turns on in 5 seconds, and when you shut off it absolutely shuts off just as quick- if you didn't save something, that's on you lmao
