What really gets me about jews is that there are some who are basically normal and not outright terrible people, there are some who are gay atheists and bad people, and there are some who are literally evil sorcerors who think God is dead and openly worship Satan instead. All go to the same synagogues, read the same theology, eat together at Passover, and all defend each other from any criticism by outsiders.
Like, I just don't understand. What's even the point if you don't care enough to even verbally oppose evil and try to turn people towards what you believe is true?
Even the most ecumenical non-denominational low protestant slop Christians don't do this sort of thing and never would. Jews have ALWAYS been like this though.
A few hundred years ago, Anglicans, Catholics, and Lutherans all pogrommed each other and had Europe in a state of perpetual war. But Judaism even back to the time of Jesus and before has had weird cults as part of its mainstream that everyone just accepted and went along with. Remember the Saducees? They didn't even believe in any form of afterlife, yet no judaic officials ever denounced them in any way as far as I know.
It's like if you went to church with Satanists and Scientologists and the pastor welcomed them and started putting bits of their sects into the service and then went to Bible study afterwards and that was just normal for you. Unthinkable.
For non-church goers, it's like if the Jedi in Star Wars just let Sith Lords go to their temple services there and while the Jedi were singing "Amazing Force, how sweet the sound" or whatever, the Sith were chanting evil nigga shit and sacrificing children and then afterwards they all went out to dinner and shook hands and said "may the Force be with you" and then watched holovids of clone troopers and droids slaughtering each other and massacring civilian populations and clapped for each other's guys.
It's such a foreign mindset to me, I can't even imagine myself living like that.
Edit: update: anime women for your time. Thank you friends
