Meet passive aggressive family with actual aggression by pissing on the turkey as a power move

My thanksgiving visit got off to a rocky start too. as soon as I got out of the car at my parents I ran up and told them “mom dad, I’ve got to tell you about this friend of mine named nierenstain, he’s a total riot everything he says is hilarious!” and they said “oh yeah? What are some of his best jokes?” And I didn’t have anything, I tried to explain that it was all pretty context dependent but they didn’t really get it and since then things have been awkward.
