I want to play a JRPG but I'm not sure what to play. I am finishing up FFT but I will need something else to play afterwards as Christmas and NYE is pretty quiet for work. I will have time but nothing to play, and I will NEVER play my backlog.

I guess I could just play umamusume runs over and over but I'm not that autistic.

I still have never played any of them, I heard they are big commitments. Also the lack of anime girls makes it a little less interesting to me.

I have been eyeing this actually. I played the demo a bit and it seems pretty straightforward to use. I like the umamusume game loop (not a fan of the length of each run but more the general idea) and was thinking about implementing something like that but with an isometric FFT style kind of game. Like you have recruits, you train them for various maps and challenges, and then do some kind of PVP battle. It would also be fun to learn to code some basic things though this.

I have already put over 300 hours of my life into that game, I might try it if there's some kind of mods for it that seem interesting.

I've played a decent chunk of them, but I don't have a strong desire to revisit. I need to be in the mood for a tales of game.
