Takaichi has said some mildly critical things about infinite migration so of course western media calls her japanese trump because they're incapable of treating anything with nuance or portraying it in any way but thru the lens of Donald Trump after a decade of brainrot

There isn't really a party in the entire world that is going to live up to people's expectations. LDP brings in lots of brown cattle to do things like run convenience stores and rape locals. It's the same as it is here. Ideally they do something to stop immigration but I would not expect anything.
