yacy sucks, even when you have the content you're looking for scraped its sorting/filtering is completely useless

it's been basically abandoned sans occasional community bug fixes for like a decade iirc

you can probably build something better with an llm these days. And search it with an LLM instead of a decent search ranking algo. Don't say search yacy with an llm, if the llm makes a search that yields no results with yacy API it will timeout after like 30 seconds it's retarded
